After closing the deal to sell ICM Partners to CAA in June 2022, Silbermann had to help integrate 425 ICM agents and executives into his former rival as a newly minted member of CAA’s senior leadership team and shareholder board. At the same time, he was cutting deals for his clients, which include David Shore, BBC Studios, Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Eminem’s Shady Films. As nine networks bid for the untitled new show from writer-producer-showrunner Vince Gilligan (“Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”), Apple TV+ ultimately came out on top with its offer of a two-season, straight-to-series order. In 2023, Silbermann had big premieres from clients Shonda Rhimes (Netflix’s “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Neill Blomkamp (Sony Pictures’ “Gran Turismo”). He also serves on the AFI board of trustees and the board of directors of Just for Laughs. He is also the chair and director of the board of the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
