The INSIDER Summary:

Now, a similar floor design from tile company Casa Ceramica is baffling people online for the same reason: Both designs are optical illusions that make a flat floor appear as a bumpy surface.

We first spotted Casa Ceramica's design on Reddit, in a now-viral post by user 9999monkeys. It's installed in the entrance to one of the company's showrooms in Manchester, UK.

The floor — which is made of 400 individual porcelain tiles — looks like it has a giant dent in the middle, but it's actually completely level.

Even more mind-boggling, the optical illusion only works when you face the showroom's entrance. The "dent" in the floor disappears when you look at it from the opposite perspective.

"The inspiration was to create an entrance themed on illusions and [exceed] expectations of how tiles can be used," a representative of Casa Ceramica told INSIDER in an email.

The company also commissioned local artist Myro Doodles to illustrate free-hand quotes on the walls of the entranceway from films like "Alice in Wonderland" and Tony Walsh's inspirational poem, "This is The Place," in memory of the victims of the Manchester attack in May.

See how the optical illusion was made in the video below.
