A two-hour video of previously unseen footage from Jackson’s 1993 “Dangerous” tour failed to sell at auction this weekend, despite being valued at $6-8 million. A sign that the public is finally moving on? Not quite. Apparently, Jackson’s record label has claimed the material is copyrighted, which means there’s a pretty good chance that the film’s owner would be unable to use it for commercial purposes. A spokesman for the Fame Bureau, the U.K. auction house attempting to sell the video, said he was “confident” that a buyer would step up, though “nothing is a certainty.” Consider that a challenge, super-rich Michael Jackson fans.
